BUSINESS TURNAROUND MANAGER
David Summers is a seasoned professional in
receivership, judgment enforcement and business crisis resolution.
His nineteen years of management experience with U.S. Leasing International
(“USLI”) - a $6.5 billion
subsidiary of Ford Financial Services - (with the last six years as
a divisional CEO and a member of the USLI Senior Management Group),
ten years of public practice with two of the Big Four CPA firms combined
with current activities in the insolvency field provide the expertise
necessary to deal successfully in the turnaround and crisis area. Manufacturing,
financial services and transportation have been the major areas for
his activities.
Mr. Summers has been a decade's long member
of the California Society of CPA's (CSCPA) and the American Institute
of CPA's (AICPA). He has been the Chair of the Business & Industry
Committee for the CSCPA and the AICPA, a member of the CSCPA Board
of Directors, AICPA Governing Counsel, and the Board of Trustees
of the CSCPA Education Foundation. He currently serves as Treasurer
and a member of the Board of Directors of the California Association
of Judgment Professionals.
Mr. Summers received his BS Degree in Business Administration from
San Jose State University , holds a California CPA license, has authored
various articles on management and leasing for professional publications
and made many appearances as a speaker on these subjects.
